On the Navigation License course, you'll learn to navigate safely in a fast-paced and entertaining course. Earn your "Titulín" at the Port Olímpic in Barcelona.

Course method and structure Weekday navigation license

In the 2 hours of theoretical class and 4 hours of practice, during the week, your instructor will help you understand and assimilate the fundamentals of safe navigation and the regulations.

In the Navigation License course you will learn

Basic notions of navigation.
Passage preferences between vessels.
Interpret the maritime buoyage.
Make essential knots.
Collision prevention rules.
How to dock and undock.
Choose a good place to anchor.
Basic notions of radio communications.
How to act in emergencies.

Navigation License Requirements

Be 16 years or older.
DNI, NIE or valid passport.
Complete 4 hours of practice, on a weekday.
Complete 2 hours of theoretical class (before or after the practices).
Nautical Medical Certificate.

Expedition

Once the course is completed, you must send us a digital copy of both sides of your medical certificate and in 15 days you can come and pick up your Navigation License.

Your NL does not expire, just in case you lose it or it deteriorates, you can request a duplicate from the school.

A very good experience. The school is very comfortable, with air conditioning, which is appreciated in summer. The theoretical class has been very enjoyable since the teacher has explained the details with real examples and thus it is better understood. He has also given us personal advice that always goes well! On the Boat, regarding practice, the experience has been great, I liked it a lot, I have learned and I do not rule out taking more courses.
