On the Navigation License course, you'll learn to navigate safely in a fast-paced and entertaining course. Earn your "Titulín" at the Port Olímpic in Barcelona.

Course method and structure Weekday navigation license

In the 2 hours of theoretical class and 4 hours of practice, during the week, your instructor will help you understand and assimilate the fundamentals of safe navigation and the regulations.

In the Navigation License course you will learn

Basic notions of navigation.
Passage preferences between vessels.
Interpret the maritime buoyage.
Make essential knots.
Collision prevention rules.
How to dock and undock.
Choose a good place to anchor.
Basic notions of radio communications.
How to act in emergencies.

Navigation License Requirements

Be 16 years or older.
DNI, NIE or valid passport.
Complete 4 hours of practice, on a weekday.
Complete 2 hours of theoretical class (before or after the practices).
Nautical Medical Certificate.

Expedition

Once the course is completed, you must send us a digital copy of both sides of your medical certificate and in 15 days you can come and pick up your Navigation License.

Your NL does not expire, just in case you lose it or it deteriorates, you can request a duplicate from the school.

My instructors, both practical and theoretical, were very professional, they explained it very well and what they explained was easily understood, the strange thing was that the practicals were done first before the theory, although I prefer it that way, they teach you first, in the You practice, all things as they are as they are done, and then in the theory they finish them in detail, already knowing previously thanks to the practice, what is explained to you in the theory, it is understood much better that way.

Very personal treatment, the boat is wide and comfortable. The instructor is very knowledgeable and explains everything perfectly. I will definitely repeat for future courses. As a negative point, I would say that they changed my practice because there were not enough people signed up and I had to find another day.
