Basic safety training – STCW A-VI/1
During the Basic Safety Training course you will learn how to act in different emergency situations on board the ship. The course is divided into 4 modules.
- Survival at sea in case of abandonment of the ship STCW A-VI/1-1
- Prevention and fight against fires STCW A-VI/1-2
- Minimum standards in first aid STCW A-VI/1-3
- Safety at work and social responsibilities A-VI/1-4
Theoretical and practical face-to-face training where you will learn about emergency situations on board and prepare you to respond, immediately applying the procedures and actions that minimize possible dangers related with firefighting, rescue, survival and prevention of accidents on board.
The training is given in Spanish.

The course taught by Escola Port is approved by the DGMM and complies with the STCW10 Manila amendments. This certificate is mandatory to be able to work on a sea-going vessel.
