GNP practices
These are the practices that you must complete to obtain the title of Basic Navigation Skipper – PNB.
PNB navigation
Safety and navigation practices. 8 hours long.
The practice sessions are carried out on a voyage basis with a rest stop every 4 hours.
They are face-to-face practices and are carried out on board the school's boats in the Port Olímpic of Barcelona.
You can do them during the week or on the weekend.
Agenda of the PNB navigation practices
The distribution of the total internship time would be divided into nine sections:
- Weather forecast.
- Safety and checks before going out to sea.
- Engine starting and functional checks.
- Review of safety equipment: vests, lifebuoy, pyrotechnic signals.
- Rope management: knot making, mooring use.
- Docking and undock maneuvers.
- Application of the rules of course and government.
- Practical aspects of navigation.
- Security maneuvers.
Radio
Radiocommunications. 4 hours long.
They are face-to-face practices and are carried out with simulators in the school's radio classroom in the Port Olímpic of Barcelona.
You will do them in one session, on weekends or during the week.

PNB Complementary Practices
They are advanced navigation practices, to make the most of them we recommend you do them after doing the basic navigation practices.
Sailing
Specialization practices in sailing navigation lasting 16 hours. These practices the PNB title for the government of sailing vessels.
They are face-to-face practices and are carried out aboard the school's sailboats in the Port Olímpic of Barcelona.
You can do them in two 8-hour sessions on weekends or in four 4-hour sessions during the week.
The complementary practices can be done before or after taking the exam or issuing the title. It is up to you
