Passenger ships – STCW AV/2.1
Theoretical and practical course that will train you to perform different passenger assistance functions in emergency situations on board, applying safety and rescue techniques and tactics.
It will train you to control a crowd in the event of an emergency on board, locate essential safety and emergency equipment, maintain effective communication with passengers during an emergency, demonstrate how to use personal life-saving devices, and comply with procedures emergency and ship safety.
Aimed at all the crew with emergency functions, and, where appropriate, all the personnel who provide a direct service to passengers in the spaces designated for them on passenger ships and on road transport vehicle ships.
Essential certificate to enroll in any vessel that exceeds 12 passengers on board (cruises, ferries, catamarans, etc.).
The training is given in Spanish.
